Providers

A number of service providers have been contracted by the Toronto Catholic District School Board to deliver school bus transportation to our students. Transportation Service comes in many forms including 72 and 19 passenger yellow busses, mini vans, wheelchair accessible vehicles, and taxi’s among others.

For your reference we have also included links to other transportation websites in the city of Toronto that may help you get around the city.

All transportation work contracted out by the TCDSB will be posted on the Board's internet site at (http://www.tcdsb.org/Tendering%20Information/Purchasing/RFP.htm) and on Bid Navigator (www.bidnavigator.com).  This type of service includes regular home to school, special needs, and wheelchair transportation.  The next RFP for transportation services may not be issued until Fall 2012.  News of any new contracts, tenders, RFP's  will be posted on the Home page on this website.

The Toronto Catholic & Public District School Boards post a Request For Proposal every two years for the acquisition of student transportation services for field trips and other non regular transportation events.  School Bus Operators wanting to provide these types of services should submit their proposals when this document is issued.  At any point in time a vendor would like to update their profile with the Boards then the 'Approved Vendor Application' should be completed and returned to the Boards for processing.
